All Miniature Linear Guides are supplied from the factory with initial greasing. The microscopically thin lubricating film separates the loaded balls and the running surfaces of the rail in the contact zone. This reduces friction as well as guide wear. The lubricating film slows down the material degradation process and the Miniature Linear Guide can be used for a longer period of time resulting in a higher service life.
Due to the wide design, higher transverse torques can be achieved. Accuracy class N with preload class 1 is supplied as standard. The wide miniature carriage with the higher accuracy class is available under the designation MWN-12H2.
