Recirculating Ball Bearing Guide

A recirculating ball bearing guide is a special type of linear guide with ball bearings. The balls, which roll on the guide shaft or rail during the stroke movement, are deflected at the end of the guide body. They are then returned to the beginning of the guide body via a ball return channel. In this way, unlimited linear movements can be achieved. Rollers can also be used here as rolling elements, in which case they are referred to as recirculating roller guides. With recirculating roller guides, the forces and torques that can be transmitted are even higher than with a ball bearing guide.
