Cross Roller Guide
In contrast to a profiled rail guideway, a cross roller guideway is a linear guideway for limited stroke lengths. It consists of two pairs of ground rails, each with a V-shaped groove and cylindrical rollers between them as rolling elements, which are held in a cross arrangement by a cage that travels with them.
This type of linear guide offers maximum precision and load capacity with unsurpassed running behavior. It is therefore generally used for measuring equipment, in optical instruments, in medical technology and in precision machining.
